Whiskey BBQ Pork

Ingredients
 3 tbsp butter
 3 tbsp canola oil
 1 cup chopped onion
 ½ cup Cody Road Bourbon
 ¾ cup ketchup
 ½ cup cider vinegar
 ½ cup orange juice
 ½ cup pure maple syrup
 ¼ cup dark molasses
 ¼ cup brown sugar
 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 ½ tsp coarsely ground black pepper
 ½ tsp salt
Directions

In a saucepan, melt the butter with the oil over medium heat.
Add the onions and sauté for until golden, about 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine; reduce heat to low and cook until thickened, about 30 to 45 minutes.
Stir often.

Serve over hot pulled pork on buns for delicious sandwiches!
