Strawberry Vodka Shortcake

Pride Of The Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
Ingredients
2 qts fresh strawberries cleaned and sliced
1 cup white sugar
¾ cup water
4 large fresh orange slices
½ cup Pride of the Wapsi Strawberry Vodka
8 shortcake biscuits or slices of angel food cake
Directions

Cook the water and sugar together until it boils for 1 minute.

Allow to cool to room temperature.

Add the Strawberry Vodka and remove the orange slices.

Stir the fresh cleaned strawberries into this mixture.

Refrigerate any strawberries that may be left over….but, I seriously doubt it.

Serve with the shortcake or angel food cake and whipped cream.
