Rye Whiskey Mustard

 1 cup Yellow Mustard Seeds [we recommend Penzey’s]
 ½ cup Brown Mustard Seeds [we recommend Penzey’s]
 1 cup Cody Road Rye Whiskey
 ½ cup cider vinegar
 1 cup brown sugar
 1 tsp turmeric
 1 tbsp salt
Directions

Stir the mustard seed, water, whiskey and vinegar in a NON reactive bowl and cover.

Let this soak for 24 hours.

Place the soaked mustard seed mixture in a blender add the sugar, turmeric, and salt.

Process until smooth.

Cover and refrigerate for 2 days before you use it.
